Nile River Festival

The exhilarating Nile River Festival (NRF), is a four-day extravaganza held in Jinja, Uganda. Set against the backdrop of the world's longest river, River Nile, prepare for an adventure-packed experience of kayaking, rafting, mountain biking and SUP (Stand-Up Paddleboarding). The NRF is a unique blend of adventure, culture, and camaraderie, all set amidst the breathtaking beauty of the Nile River.
Bayimba International Festival of the Arts
Taking place on Lunkulu islands on Lake Victoria, this annual multi-disciplinary event showcases various artistic disciplines, including music, dance, theatre, film, visual arts, fashion, and literature. Every August, engage with artists and performers from around the globe while immersing yourself in Uganda's thriving arts scene.
Held in Hoima at the Boma Grounds in Mbarara, this annual event celebrates the coronation anniversary of the Omukama (king) of the Bunyoro-Kitara Kingdom; one of the most powerful kingdoms in Uganda. They are still ruled under a monarchy and are a remainder of the Kitara empire which governed parts of Western Kenya, Northern Tanzania and Eastern Congo. Experience the rich cultural heritage of the Bunyoro people as they come together for traditional rituals, dancing, and singing, providing a unique glimpse into one of Uganda's oldest kingdoms.

Set at the luxurious Kyaninga Lodge, the triathlon, duathlon and fun run are a new way to experience ar incredible country. This will be the fourteenth Kyanin Triathlon event! Swim across a glistening crater lake. Cycle through Ugandan villages (bike & helmet provided).
