Apoka Safari Lodge is the first privately owned lodge in a vast 556-square-mile park located in Uganda's dry northeastern region. It offers stunning views of the Narus River Valley, which attracts a variety of wildlife, including large herds of elephants and buffalo, as well as lesser-known species like Jackson's hartebeests and Rothschild's giraffes. The lodge features a beautiful infinity pool nestled into a natural granite basin, and dining is done in a communal setting, although there are also private spots available. One such spot is the observation tower, which offers a refreshing vantage point to observe the yellow savanna, rolling foothills, winding river, and distant mountains.
