The Experience

Your journey kicks off in Entebbe, then winds into the misty hills of Bwindi – a place where the forest hums with life. You’ll stay in a lodge tucked deep in the jungle, with warm hospitality, sweeping views, and nature’s soundtrack all around.

The main event? A bucket-list gorilla trek. With expert trackers leading the way, you’ll hike through thick rainforest until – there they are. A wild gorilla family, just meters away, totally unfazed by your presence.

But this trip is more than the trek. Fill your days with forest walks, village visits, and cultural encounters that bring Uganda’s vibrant spirit to life. Evenings are for fireside chats, hearty meals, and drifting off to the sounds of the wild.

Day 1

Arrival

Begin your adventure with a short, direct flight from Nairobi to Entebbe. Upon arrival, transfer to a boutique guesthouse just minutes from the airport. Enjoy a light lunch in a tropical garden, then spend the afternoon exploring Entebbe’s lakeside charm. As the sun sets, unwind with drinks and watch birdlife on the shores of Lake Victoria.
Day 2

Journey to the Gorilla Highlands & Community Interactions

After breakfast, board a scenic flight to Uganda’s western region, gateway to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. On arrival, transfer to Buhoma, your base for the next two nights. Settle in and take time to explore the local community and learn about the region’s biodiversity. As evening falls, enjoy a delicious dinner and a briefing about your upcoming gorilla trek.
Day 3

Gorilla Trekking & Forest Exploration

Rise early for a briefing by your expert guides, then set off into the dense forest of Bwindi. Trek through lush vegetation before coming face-to-face with a gorilla family. Spend a magical hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat. Return to your lodge for a well-earned rest and evening reflection on your extraordinary experience.
Day 4

Departure

The last day, wake to the sounds of the forest one last time. After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your return flight to Entebbe and onward connection to Nairobi. And if you don’t have to head home just yet, why stop here? Extend your adventure and explore more of what Uganda has to offer. Head to Queen Elizabeth National Park to see the Big Five or North to Murchison Falls to watch the sun set while sipping drinks on the River Nile.
