The Experience

This adventure begins in the vast, shimmering wilderness of the Okavango Delta, where you’ll drift through papyrus channels by mokoro, track predators on foot across remote floodplains, and sleep under canvas deep in a private concession far from the rest of the world. It then moves to the thundering spectacle of Victoria Falls, one of nature’s most overwhelming masterpieces. With exceptional camps, extraordinary wildlife and landscapes that shift with every passing hour, this is the kind of trip that ruins all others.

Day 1 - Arrival in the Okavango Delta
Welcome to the Okavango Delta, one of the world's last great wildernesses. Transfer from Maun Airport into the heart of the Delta by helicopter or light aircraft and check in at Kujwana Camp. Join the team for lunch and an introduction to the area, then head out for the afternoon to explore by vehicle, on foot or by boat as the Delta begins to reveal its secrets.

Day 2 - Morning Game Drive & Mokoro Expedition
Tea or coffee arrives at your tent as the bush stirs around you. Head out from Kujwana on foot or by vehicle to explore the Xudum area, wading through lush green waterways that connect the Delta's island sanctuaries. As the day winds down, trade dry land for water and drift through the channels on a traditional mokoro, the silence broken only by the dip of a paddle and the call of a distant bird.

Day 3 - Into the Wilderness: Flycamp
Check out of Kujwana and head deep into the Delta on a full day's journey toward your Flycamp, crossing open floodplains and scattered islands along the Qwaapu River. A picnic lunch and afternoon siesta break up the journey before you arrive at sunset, cold drink in hand. The setting is as remote as it gets, but every comfort has been taken care of.

Day 4 - Predator Tracking & Eastern Concession
Set out from Flycamp by vehicle and on foot, scanning the thickets for the rare African Wild Dog and the leopards known to haunt this area. After lunch continue into the remarkably remote eastern concession, fording hippo channels, and reading tracks.

Day 5 - Return to Kujwana
The final leg of the Flycamp circuit leads back through the Delta to Kujwana, a full day of tracking and exploration with a picnic lunch along the way. That evening, gather around the fire at camp for a last dinner under the stars, the week's stories swapped long into the night.

Day 6 - Farewell to the Delta & Victoria Falls Arrival
Enjoy one last morning on the water or in the bush at Kujwana, followed by a relaxed brunch, before flying to Kasane and crossing the border into Zimbabwe. Check in to the Victoria Falls Hotel, a grand Edwardian landmark that has welcomed travellers to one of the seven natural wonders of the world since 1904.

Day 7 - Victoria Falls & Zambezi Sunset Cruise
Begin with a guided walk through the rainforest to the edge of Victoria Falls, no photograph can prepare you for the sight, the sound or the sheer scale of it. In the evening, board the Zambezi Royal for a sunset cruise upstream, watching hippos, elephants and crocodiles as the sky turns amber and the river carries you gently home.

Day 8 - Heading Home
A final breakfast before transferring to Victoria Falls International Airport. The Delta mud may be gone from your boots, but the memories, the tracks in the sand, the silence of the mokoro, the thunder of the falls, will take considerably longer to fade.
