Day 1

Entebbe – Lakeside Welcome

Arrive in Entebbe and transfer to Muti Guesthouse, a leafy retreat just minutes from the airport. Enjoy a light lunch in the gardens, then spend the afternoon exploring Entebbe’s charming lakeside and unwind with a refreshing drink as the sun sets over Lake Victoria.
Day 2

Into the Forest – Arrival at Bwindi

After breakfast, board your scenic flight to Kihihi, gateway to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. On arrival, you’ll be met and transferred by road to Buhoma Lodge, your forest sanctuary for the next three nights. Settle into your comfortable room, take a stroll through the Buhoma village, or enjoy the lodge’s surroundings. In the evening, gather for a delicious dinner and a briefing about your upcoming gorilla trek.
Day 3

Gorilla Trekking – Life-Changing Encounter

Rise early for breakfast and a briefing from your expert guides. Then, set off into the dense, misty forest of Bwindi in search of your assigned mountain gorilla family. Trek through the unique, lush vegetation and spend an awe-inspiring hour observing the gorillas as they play, feed, and interact, a truly unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime moment. Return to Buhoma Lodge for lunch and a relaxing afternoon.
Day 4

Community & Forest Immersion

Today is your opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich culture and lush landscapes of Buhoma. Join a guided community walk to experience daily life and learn about local traditions from friendly villagers. A highlight of your visit will be Ride 4 a Woman, a remarkable community project empowering local women through skills training, craft-making, and sustainable income opportunities. Here, you can meet the women, learn about their stories, and even try your hand at weaving or drumming.
Day 5

Welcome to the Savanna – Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, bid farewell to Buhoma and journey by road to The River Station in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Arrive in time for lunch and settle into your riverside accommodation. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive, spotting elephants, buffalo, antelope, and perhaps even lions or leopards. Return to the lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening under the stars.
Day 6

Game Drives & River Safari

Begin your day with an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, when wildlife is most active. After breakfast at the lodge, enjoy some leisure time before setting out on a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel. Glide past hippos, crocodiles, and a dazzling array of birdlife, with elephants and buffalo often seen along the shores. Return to The River Station for dinner and another night in the wild.
Day 7

Chimpanzee Tracking & Nature Exploration

After breakfast, guided by expert rangers, descend into the gorge in search of habituated chimpanzee families, enjoying the dramatic scenery and rich biodiversity along the way. In the afternoon, consider a guided nature walk, visit the salt lakes of Katwe or explore the Maramagambo Forest, where you can discover unique wildlife and scenic landscapes. The next day you will take your scenic fly back to Entebbe.
