Days 1–2

Arrival & Arusha Exploration

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your base in Arusha. Spend your first day unwinding amidst the lush surroundings, allowing yourself to acclimate and relax after your journey. The following day, embark on a guided tour of Arusha’s vibrant markets and cultural sites. For those interested, optional excursions to Arusha National Park or a coffee plantation tour offer insight into the region’s natural beauty and famed coffee production.

Tarangire National Park Safari

Travel to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds and diverse birdlife. Spend your days on game drives across the park’s stunning landscapes, seeking out elephants, lions, and numerous other species. Enjoy picnic lunches in the wild, and, as the sun sets, consider joining a night drive or walking safari to observe the park’s nocturnal creatures and gain a unique perspective on its ecosystem.

Days 5–6

Lake Eyasi Cultural Immersion with the Hadzabe Tribe

Journey to the Lake Eyasi region, home to the Hadzabe, one of the world’s last hunter-gatherer tribes. Spend time with the Hadzabe people, rising early to join them on a traditional hunt where you’ll witness their remarkable hunting techniques, including the use of handcrafted bows, arrows, and natural poisons. This is not a staged performance but a genuine insight into their daily survival and deep bond with the land. After the hunt, explore the surrounding area by vehicle or on foot, observing local birdlife and the serene lake environment. In the afternoon, visit the Datoga blacksmiths, whose skilled metalworking supports the Hadzabe with essential tools.

Eastern Serengeti Wildlife Adventure
