Discover the iPhone 16 in Action: Capturing the Magic of Kenya

Something great to celebrate! Kenya’s wildlife and wilderness were again put on the world map as Austin Mann tested the new iPhone 16 in Kenya before its official launch. The dramatic landscapes were the perfect playground to push Apple’s latest device to the max and see just how far its next-level camera could go.

For a whole week, joined by a talented crew of three photographers and videographers, they set off on an unforgettable adventure to capture breathtaking footage. The journey began in Amboseli, where they encountered Craig, one of Kenya’s largest Super Tuskers.

David, a local Maasai who tracks Craig daily

From there, they ventured to Northern Kenya, visiting Koros Camp and exploring majestic landmarks such as Mt. Poi, Mt. Ololokwe, the Ndoto Mountains, and the stunning Nabuyotum Crater at Lake Turkana’s southern end, shaped by volcanic activity in Africa’s Great Rift Valley.

Their adventure culminated with a game drive in Lolldaiga, where Safari Series Camp provided a perfect background. Lolldaiga’s sprawling savannahs, Mt Kenya’s snowy peaks, and endless skies set the scene. Along the way, Austin Mann and the team gave everyone a front-row seat to the raw beauty and thrill of an African safari. Lions on the move gave the iPhone’s camera a real test, snapping action shots in real-time, while wide-open landscapes and epic sunsets let the new features shine big time.
