The Experience

Trade the ordinary for the extraordinary as you paddle down the Ewaso Ng’iro River, winding through Kenya’s wild southern Rift Valley. This is not your average getaway: by day, kayak surrounded by stunning landscapes, spot wildlife, and authentically connect with Maasai communities. By night, camp under a sky full of stars, share stories around the fire, and bond over fresh-cooked meals. Why we love it

There’s nothing like the rush of paddling a wild river by day and swapping stories by the campfire at night-this is Kenya at its most raw, real, and rewarding.

When to travel

Best experienced during the dry months (November–December and June–October) when river conditions are ideal and wildlife gathers along the banks. Off-season journeys (during the rains) offer lush landscapes and solitude for those who love a wilder, more unpredictable adventure.
