Six years ago, he swapped vet school for the kitchen. Since then, he’s cooked for Lupita Nyong’o, appeared on TV, launched two food businesses, and grown as a culinary influencer. Exploring film and set design led him to see food as the ultimate art form, inspiring his signature Afro-fusion style.
Inspired by chefs like Kim Kiarie and Kiano Moju, he co-runs The Wrap Hut with his wife, Muthoni, while also offering exclusive catering through Kivu Cat? His ‘Dine With Chef Beni experience is a monthly, 12-guest showcase of experimental Afro-fusion dishes.
