Kibo Safari Camp

Explore Kibo Safari Camp with Nomad Africa. Discover safari adventures, luxury accommodations, and wildlife experiences.

Kibo Safari Camp is a luxury tented camp strategically located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. The renowned mountain, at 5,896 meters is the highest freestanding mountain in the world and topped by one fifth of all the ice in Africa. Nearly as famous is the Amboseli National Park, from which splendid views of Kilimanjaro can be seen across the border in Tanzania. The term ‘Amboseli’ itself, means ‘salty dust’ in Maa, the language of the Maasai. The park, a place of stark landscape contrasts boasts a variety of wildlife and bird species but is particularly recognised for its large elephant herds.
