The Safari Series is located on Lolldaiga Hills, a private conservancy at the base of Mount Kenya. The conservancy has a view of the mountain on one side and a vast, untouched wilderness spanning 49,000 acres on the other. Lolldaiga Hills is a special spot with lots of Africa’s famous animals and some of the world’s most beautiful scenery. In this safari adventure, guests can view lots of wildlife by getting into the custom-built Land Rovers with their guide to view lions, leopards, giraffes, and elephants on their game drive experience.
On Lolldaiga Hills, hosted by its owners, Moon and Ed, is a small, cosy, and nicely decorated tented camp. A perfect mix of amazing wildlife, stunning views, friendly hosts and staff, and lots of activities. With a sustainability and impactful focus, the camp runs on solar energy, a grey water system, and locally employed staff.
The Safari Series has room for 12 guests in five tents. There's one family tent and four standard tents that can be set up as a double or twin. Each tent is in its own space where it looks over a watering hole where wildlife frequent for example, elephants. Visitors can choose to explore on foot, discovering the local plants, trees, and flowers, along with learning about the medicinal uses of certain plants by the nearby communities. Alternatively, they can opt for a ride in one of the camp's vintage Series Land Rovers, which is also how the camp got its name. These charming classic vehicles offer a trip and for the more adventurous, even a chance to drive through the scenic landscape, evoking the cool and classic feel of traditional game drives.
