Tortilis Camp offers a privileged location to witness the grandeur of Africa's highest mountain, Kilimanjaro. Named after the iconic flat-topped Acacia Tortilis tree, the camp graces a hill within Amboseli's Acacia Tortilis woodland area. Situated in a private conservancy adjacent to the national park, guests can partake in game drives, walks, sundowners, and bush meals, both within the national park and the conservancy, ensuring an exclusive experience.
The spacious tents feature king or twin beds and elegant en-suite bathrooms. The main lounge, bar, and dining area are meticulously constructed with natural materials and thatched roofs, exuding charm. Additionally, the Private House and Family Tent are positioned slightly apart from the main camp on the hill, where they share a pool. Pioneering eco-lodge practices, Tortilis Camp was one of the first of its size to embrace sustainability, proudly operating as a 100% solar-powered establishment.
