MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK
Meet the Mighty River Nile at its narrowest point - Murchison Falls. Watch the force of the river squeeze through the 6 m gorge and enjoy the cooling spray from the banks. Whether you hike to the topmost points in the park or take safari boat rides to its base, the views are incredible and it's a not be missed experience.
Lots of great accommodation offers nestle on the banks of the Nile and the new bridge which connects the southern region to the northern means you can freely move in and out of the National Park throughout the day. Chimp trekking in Budongo Forest is within the conservation area and the Rhino Sanctuary is also near by and well worth a visit to trek with the only remaining white rhino in Uganda.
