Longonot Loft

Longonot Loft is an eco-friendly self-catering ‘loft house’ built on the foothills of Mt. Longonot volcano, Lake Naivasha. It is a 10 minute drive off the main Moi South Lake rd on a privately owned 200 acre estate called Impala. The house is beautifully furnished, has 2 big bedrooms, bathrooms and a swimming pool right off the verandah! The house is 100% solar powered and boasts spectacular views of Mt. Longonot. Wildlife such as zebra, buffalo and impala are common on the property.

Longonot Loft is a unique, open plan, modern designed, eco-friendly house powered 100% by solar which retains a country cottage feel. The master bedroom is downstairs with super king bed, large ensuite bathroom featuring huge bath/stand up shower and double sinks. The loft is a 45sq/m room upstairs with a super king size bed a couch and a big 55” smart TV. A bathroom is downstairs and has large stand up shower.

A single bed is available for a 5th guest and can either be placed in the sitting room downstairs or up in the loft. The kitchen is open plan, featuring a large granite kitchen island for social cooking whiles guest sit in front of the fire. A chef is usually available upon request. The whole house features large doors and windows for amazing views of the volcano and lets a lot of natural light into the house to brighten up your day. The house also has an outdoor sitting room and a plunge pool right off the side of the verandah. Shallow enough for kids to play in while you sit close by and keep an eye on them.

As it is on the the foothills of Mt. Longonot, it has stunning unspoiled views of the volcano and frequently have wildlife such as zebra & buffalo in the garden. Activities in the area are: Hiking Mt.Longonot, Hell’s Gate National Park, horse riding, boat safaris, fishing, water sports, bird watching & restaurants. Most activities are about 10-20 minutes’ drive away.

There are 4 dogs living on the property and guests have private access to the entire house and garden.
